Tree Pros / Storm Damage & Cleanup

Put the grounds back in order.

After strong wind, a property can have several separate problems: a blocked entrance, broken branches overhead and scattered debris across the grounds. A useful cleanup plan distinguishes the hazards from the material that can be cleared once the site is safe.

Fallen trunks and uprooted trees beside a road

Start with what is still unstable

A branch pile may be the most visible damage, but hanging limbs or a partially uprooted tree can pose the greater concern. Keep clear of damaged trees and do not walk beneath broken branches to inspect the grounds. Stay away from all downed wires and anything in contact with them; report electrical hazards to the utility or emergency services.

Tree Pros handles tree work, not utility emergency response. Where damage involves wires, unstable buildings or immediate danger to people, other qualified responders may need to act first. The end of the storm does not by itself make a site ready for cleanup.

Work through the property in a sensible order

Once the conditions allow, the job may involve removing damaged trees, dealing with broken limbs and clearing fallen branches. Access routes often need particular attention. A long driveway can have several obstructions, with damage around the entrance, farther into the wooded approach and near the garage.

Fences, automatic gates, planting beds and garden walls can complicate removal. Describe where the tree material lies and whether a gate or driveway can still be used. A property manager can identify priorities for a seasonal residence, but should not enter an unsafe area to gather information or move debris.

Cleanup is a defined part of the job

Agree on which areas are included: a driveway only, the immediate removal area, or tree debris across the wider grounds. Branches, heavy trunk sections and remaining stumps require different work. Hauling, disposal and grinding should be addressed in the scope rather than assumed to be included automatically.

A storm cleanup does not include repairing a roof, replacing a fence or restoring a gate operator. Those tasks may follow after tree material is removed. Scheduling depends on conditions and the work involved; Tree Pros does not advertise guaranteed emergency availability or round-the-clock dispatch. For immediate threats, use the appropriate emergency services.
